Race Coverage - Guys! NEVER try the "flying mount," okay?
Sure, David Thompson (GREAT photo L) can do 'em, but he's a professional and has spent many mandatory weeks taking special classes, during which he had to wear an industrial-strength jockstrap. These classes were always supervised by highly-skilled doctors with specialized degrees in Sports Groinocology.
Besides, guys, your jewels, which you need if you want to continue to be dudes, are already compromised by years of bike pants constriction. Don't add unnecessary injury to your current state of inguinal insult....

North Mankato Triathlon XV - Former Mankato guy, Matt Payne, and Waukesha Wisconsin's Molly Woodford, who has a teenage brother named Brad who is super fast, too, couldn't have been more impressive this morning if they had stood on their respective heads and tooted the "Star Spangled Banner" in unison.
Okay, that would have been really impressive.
We digress.
Payne's 18th career W and Woodford's repeat victory here were commanding and convincing and imperious. In other words, they each won by a lot. Greg Taylor, 58, was amazing, too, especially his hilariously captivating monologue at the awards ....
