Waseca IV Preview - Some athlete's claim that victory has a "scent,"and that they can detect it prior to an event they are destined to win.
According to a guy who calls himself a Quantum Smellocologist, Victory Aroma is not only delectable by those who will be overall champions. It is also perceptible to those who will win their AGs, or "win" a PR, or win a personal battle with a particular adversary, or whatever defines winning for them.
Cool.
Of course, some skeptics decry the veracity of the VST (Victory Scent Theory), claiming that such a phenomenon simply does not exist. Others believe that impending victory has a feel, not a scent, and that said feeling is delectable in either...

Graniteman - Clearwater Preview - July 14-15 will be the busiest weekend of Minnesota's tri season. Approximately 3500 Minnesota triathletes will race on Saturday, a day that features three popular and well-established events: Life Time - Minneapolis, Timberman and Graniteman - Clearwater. The combined ages of these annual classics is 48 years. Another 1500 will race on Sunday (Heart of the Lakes and TriTonka).
Today we discuss the G-Man Series' flagship race: the 9th annual Graniteman, an event that spent six seasons at its original venue in Rockville near St. Cloud. In 2010 it was moved to a superior venue in Clearwater, located midway between St. Cloud and the Twin Cities....

Timberman Preview - Heidi. Suzie. Ann. If there was such a thing as the fabled "Three Musketeerettes," these girls would be it, er, them (?).
We're talkin' 'bout Heidi Keller-Miler, Suzie Fox and Ann Snuggerud, a trio of very, very fast triathletic Chaskans who do that "all-for-one-and-one-for-all" thing; girls who are known throughout the land for their speed and comeliness. If they were the candy bar,...
