Minnesota Multisport Awards - The official boys Junior of the Year nominees were posted on Sunday. Today we introduce you to four girls who have incredibly bright multisport futures.
Here are the girls who received official nominations for 2011 Minnesota Junior of the Year: This is the first MMA nomination for each of these gifted young athletes.

* IN THE VERY LONG RUN - There was a really big-time running event in town last weekend. The Twin Cities Marathon & TC 10-Miler. You may have heard of them.
Well, a number of triathletes participated and did pretty goshdarned good. TJ Varecka, for instance, popped a 2:42:21. And multiple MMA nominee Michelle Andres turned in

Minnesota Multisport Awards - Only four times in the first 12th years of the MMAs has the Junior of the Year category not been coed. We are, therefore, pleased to report that both a male and a female JOY will be crowned this year. The nominated girls will be revealed here on Tuesday.
Today we introduce you to the four nominated boys.

2011 Minnesota Multisport Awards - The MMA Selection Committee announces its official nominees for 2011 Duathlete of the Year. To be eligible, athletes must have turned in at least three "amateur elite" duathlon performances during the 2011 season....
