ED. - Born to Run author Christopher MacDougall is returning to the Twin Cities. Once again, the funny and insightful author, along with Gear West XC Ski, Run & Soccer, The Bookcase in Wayzata and Vibram FiveFingers, will host a fun run and a discussion. The first event was wildly successful, drawing more than 350 attendees. This Event, which will include a picnic, will be even bigger and more fun.

ED - We thought you'd like to know what happened at the Boston Marathon today. MTN's Darin ran (3:22:55) and is really, really tired. He will post a report on Minnesota's triathletes who went the distance in Bean Town later this week.

2010 30-34 National Champion Matthew Payne of Columbia Heights, finished fifth among amateur men (1st 30-34) this morning at New Orleans 69.1, which due to high wind and water was converted to a duathlon. Pro winners were Germany's Sebastian Kienle and the ever-amazing Julie Dibens of the UK. Overall amateur winners were James McCurdy of Auburn, AL and Sarah...
