15th Edition Trinona Sprint Preview - A few days ago we posted some historical information about Trinona's storied Olympic race, the 14th edition of which is happening next Sunday morning. Today we are going to share some historical stuff about Trinona Sprint, starting with overall and Masters and Junior race records:

- Top 5 Women's Times:
1. Gaby Bunten - 1:00:41 (2016)
2. Nicole Heininger - 1:01:03 (2016)
3. Diana Koepp - 1:02:04 (2012)
4. Rebecca Gusmer - 1:02:30 (2014) - Masters Record
Junior Records: Noah Billings, 16 - 55:39 (2023) & Macy Iyer - 1:06:22 (2017)
As this is written, Trinona has enrolled more than 500 entrants, including teen stars Noah Billings, 19, who has won the Sprint race twice (He'll be racing in the OLympic event on Sunday), and 2024 Minneaota Junior of the Year Corbin Deichman, 17. Also racing (Olympic) is former Winona State Track and Cross Country runner Micah Warning, who hasn't had the best of luck in years past at Trinona. W fully believe he will change that on Sunday. He'll have to contend with one of Minnesota's best in Peter Wikman, a sub 2-hour Olympic-distance guy.
Trinona is a "major" regional event, thus a significant number of of credentialed late registrants are expected to sign up on or before race day.
