CHISAGO LAKES TRIATHLON JOINS THE STORM SPORTING EVENTS FAMILY

Chisago City, MN – After 18 years of fostering a cherished tradition in the Chisago Lakes area, the Chisago Lakes Triathlon and Chisago Lakes Kids Triathlon are transitioning ownership from DuTriRun to Storm Sporting Events. Facilitated by Gloria West, owner of DuTriRun, this seamless transition ensures the preservation of these beloved community events' legacy and integrity....

Beginning in 2025, the Chisago Lakes Triathlon will become part of Storm Sporting Events’ growing roster, which includes the highly regarded Trinona and Trinona Kids triathlons in Winona, MN. Storm Sporting Events, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2019, is committed to promoting health and wellness while raising awareness for youth mental health. The organization’s mission includes hosting inclusive athletic events that bring together participants of all ages and abilities, while making a meaningful impact through funding programs and scholarships for youth mental healthcare.

The Chisago Lakes Triathlon has established itself as a highlight of the local sports calendar, celebrated for its scenic courses, supportive community, and welcoming atmosphere. The event has flourished thanks to the enthusiastic involvement of local businesses, volunteers, and residents who have generously contributed their time, resources, and passion. These contributions have made the triathlon an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike.
