White Bear Lake, MN October 30, 2012

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a bag of non-perishable food items before they start the race. This year, the goal is to get at least 12,000 pounds in donations.
Ann Searles, Executive Director of the White Bear Food Shelf, notes that, "The White Bear Emergency Food Shelf is grateful for Tri Fitness's commitment to ending hunger, locally, in the White Bear Area. This fund-raiser fits nicely with our commitment to staying healthy by providing nutritious food to those in need in our community. Thank you to the participants, donors, and Tri Fitness - you are truly making a difference in more ways than one!"
In return for donating a full bag of food items, the first 1,000 participants will receive a coupon for a free drink courtesy of Caribou Coffee. Another 1,000 participants will receive discount coupons from Caribou. Among other donors of door prizes, Papa Murphy
