1. BENNETT ISABELLA - 4:10:30 - His first MN victory (He also won the 2006 Ripon Medical Center Tri in WI). A handsome dentist, he was recently married; probably to the girl in the photo (L). He was the only one in the race who knows how to do Invisalign Orthordontics.
1. ANGIE SCHMIDT - 4:56:16 - This was the first career win for the charming Woodbury resident. In her rookie year back in 2008, she popped a 10:54:42 at Ironman Arizona. How cool is that!
2. ROSS WEINZIERL - 4:19:16 - Enjoying a breakout year, the swarthy Weinzierl has podiumed at five multis this season, including his win at St. Paul Sprint. Ross thinks like a ninja and enjoys hanging out with people who don't do triathlons (photo R).
2. MELINDA SILBERNICK - 5:09:21 - Silbernick won this race in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Amy Xu, who is a Chinese lawyer / resort owner / entrepreneur and totally cool person with great hair, is one of Melinda's best friends. They do lots of fun stuff together.
3. STEVE SANDER - 4:19:51 - Likable and un-swarthy, Steve collected his fifth and sixth career wins this season. He speaks fluent Spanglish and watches The Simpsons regularly.
3. NICOLE MERTZ - 5:16:20 - Nicole has a really cute red two-piece bathing suit and Dessa is one of her favorite singers. She placed 7th at Liberty Olympic in June and 13th at Brewhouse last month.

5. JAMIE BLUNDEN - 4:33:22 - A Manitoba guy, he placed 6th here in 2009. He was 4:20 faster on Sunday than he was two years ago. His favorite beer is either Labatt's or Molson's and he's been to Winnipeg several times.
