We received this e-mail from Treadman Du winner Kevin O'Connor on Sunday evening:

complex and in front of Hardware Hank (photo) with their wheelbarrows out front. You get the true taste of small town Midwest in just 3 miles. The bike takes you 1 mile through downtown and straight out to the country. Wide open roads with perfect asphalt and virtually no traffic. I only had 4 cars pass me during the 22 mile bike. The bike is gently rolling hills except for one fairly extreme but fairly short hill. I rode up it at about 8mph in the smallest gear I had. In all the race was just wonderful. Final Stretch did a great job and mother nature lent her hand with perfect weather which added up to one of the most enjoyable races I have done in years.
