Don't be confused by these photos. Cathy (right) is not taller in real life than Sam (middle)...

As you can tell from the cool swim start shot, twas a windy day at Lakeville's Antlers Park last Sunday during the 3rd running of the Lake Marion Triathlon. Despite the conditions, Sam Janicki, who is actually much taller than Cathy, and Catherine "Cathy" Lee re-wrote the overall course records. Sam, which is probably short for "Samberg" (we're still convinced that he is really comic actor Andy Samberg- photo), covered the routes (.8K - 22.5K - 5K) in 1:04:52, which lowered Dennis Dane's previous CR by a skinny four seconds.

Cathy took the women's mark, formerly held by former US Athlete of the Year Honorable Mention (2004) Becky Youngberg, down by a much more mastodonian margin: 2:10.

Four divisional records also fell last Sunday:

* 00-19M - Kyle Serreyn - 1:08:31 (6th overall) - Old Mark - Nick Madrinich - 1:08:59 (2009)

* 45-49W - Pam Zachman - 1:23:57 (5th overall) - Old Mark - Marjie Carr Oxley - 1:24:05 (2009)

* 45-49M - Brian Severson - 1:11:30 (8th overall) - Old Mark - Scott Ransom - 1:11:47 (2008)
