CINCO DU MAYO - Did you see "The Fugitive"? The movie with Harrison Ford, not the bygone TV show starring Whatshisname.

Next, have you seen Devon Palmer lately? He's furrier than usual.

If you've seen The Fugitive and Devon you'll have to agree that, if you squint, he (Devon) looks a lot like a much younger version of Harrison Ford's Richard Kimble character.

What does any of this have to do with last Saturday's Cinco Du Mayo Duathlon? Here's what: A guy who looked like Richard Kimble won the race.

According to our research, Palmer's win at Cinco was the 14th of his multisport career. His time was brisk (1:23:53), second only to Sam....

Janicki's insane 2011 CR (1:21:50), and his margin of victory over runner-up Joe Johnson, who won Falls Du the previous weekend, was just less than a minute. Johnson appears to be destined for stardom. He narrowly missed earning a Rookie of the Year nomination last year, and with a win and a 2nd already this season, he could be on his way to a Most Improved nomination at season's end.

2013 Most Improved winner, Brian Sames, rounded out the men's long course (5K-20mi.-5K) podium.

The women's Top 3 were Shelley Ostrander, who recorded her first career win, Anne Grabowski, whose hair looked terrific, and 2012 Treadman champ Jenny Thacker.

The Cinco Sprint race was won by first-time winners, Matt Orzechowski and Krista Johnson. Johnson, who placed 3rd at Fall's on April 27, is the lovely wife of Joe Johnson. She looks kinda like actress Rachel Weisz (photo L).

Approximately 200 duathletes participated. The weather was great and so were the post-race tacos. RESULTS
