YWCA Indoor Tri #3 - Lotsa cool stuff happened last weekend at the YWCA Indoor Tri. Sixty-three finishers. Bob Thompson and Anne Grabowski repeated as overall winners in the Mega Sprint. Leslie Stanaway was the shortest and smiliest finisher in the overall Top 4 of the Sprint. And Anurag Jain, who placed 4th in the Mega, had the coolest name in the entire event. We're not sure how to pronounce it.
We looked up Anurag Jain on Facebook and learned that he is a guy, and that he's from Dehli, India. We also know that's he's been to Mount Rushmore (photo L) and Duluth, likes tennis, Robin Williams, nan and Chicken Tikka Masala....
The Mini Sprint was won by Stevie Stenzel. You probably know him. Great guy. Check out his cool race report on his Blog - LINK
Steve's wife Sarah, though he calls her "Pharmie," which may or may not have to do with drugs, also raced in the Mini Sprint and did well considering her present condition. Check out the pictures of her on Stevie's blog. Apparently, she's packed on a few extra pounds over the winter (photo L).
Other winners include Tim Leach and Lucy Sullivan, who went 1-2 overall in the Sprint, and Heidi Flessert, who placed 2nd overall in the Mini Sprint. We don't know much about Heidi, other than she works at Medtronic and has beautiful eyes (photo below).
