Just phoned in from Bend, Oregon: Apple Valley's Cathy Yndestad just finished Leadman 250 (yes, that's 5K swim, 223K bike, 22K run) in the insanity-inducing time of 9:55!!! Details and photo(s) coming soon...

amateur win placed her 7th overall in a field of 14 pro women; and 28 minutes ahead of 2nd place Justine Emge (Eagle, ID). Saint Paul's Angie Schmidt followed as 3rd amateur (10:28:13) and Julie Hull (pictured) from Farmington was 6th (10:53:09). WOMEN'S RESULTS
