HOLT XXVII - Patrick Parish followed up his 3rd place finish at Life Time Fitness Tri - Minneapolis on Saturday with a victory at the 27th Heart of the Lakes / Minnesota State Triathlon Championships this morning. It was PP's 7th win of the 2012 season and his 2nd W at HOLT. Suzie Fox was also crowned overall State Champion, her decisive victory was her 3rd of the year and 7th of her impressive young career.

uli Currie, 40, who is doing her own brand of Rock n Roll on the Minnesota tri scene this season.

TRITONKA II - 2011 Junior of the Year nominee, Tyler Hecht, and Kimberly Ault (photo R) took sizable bites out of their respective gender's course records at the 2nd annual TriTonka in Minnetrista this morning. Hecht's 1:06:13 was 2:38 faster than last year's men's winner; Ault's 1:16::27 was a 4:40 improvement and landed her in 8th place overall.
ALSO: Tyler pulled a double last weekend, preceding his Sunday TriTonka win with a 3rd place overall finish on Saturday at Graniteman - Clearwater.
This year's event had 88 finishers. RESULTS
