Minnesota Multisport Awards - The official nominees for 2010 Minnesota Junior of the Year are Brock Eastlund (18, Woodbury), Luke Gruhlke (17, Monticello), Kate Lowrey (15, Chaska) and Kyle Serreyn (19, Lakeville). The MMA Selectors agreed that these young athletes raced often enough and fast enough (relative to their adult peers) to deserve nominations. Of the 22 tri/du-athletes considered, these four best upheld the standards set by their elite junior predecessors. This is the 2nd JOY nomination for Kate and Kyle....

We're confused. Midnight. Is it the last second of today or the first second of tomorrow? Will Race of the Year voting end at midnight tonight? Or midnight tomorrow morning? Whichever is correct, you need to know that if you haven't voted yet, you must do so before that ambiguous moment that is either today's (October 31) last second, or tomorrow's first one (November 1).
As of this morning, MTN's voting page has received more than 2700 hits. Forty-one of our state's 70 adult, outdoor multis have received votes. Not every visitor has voted and some have done so two or three times (only one will count). If you're not part of this record turnout, you have until the end of the day to participate....
