Minnesota Multisport Awards - There was only one award category on which all nine MMA Selectors agreed on the nominees: Female Triathlete of the Year....

All four of the girls nominated here fulfilled all the criteria. They raced fast and often. They won, and set records. (Between them, they won 27 events!) And they consistently outraced top-level competition.

The official nominees for female TOY are:

* MICHELLE ANDRES, 32, East Gull Lake

Winner of seven races, six of them tris, Michelle clearly demonstrated TOY worthiness. Most her wins came in smaller, less competitive races, BUT her times were very fast.
