Going Off Course - Hopkins triathlete Christian Oestreich has the second most unpronounceable name in the world.

Who has the first, you inquire curiously?

Mike Krzwzewski, Duke University's decorated basketball coach. For reasons only Polish people know, Coach Mike's last name is pronounced "Sheh-shev-ski." That's right. The Krzw part sounds like "Sheh," and the zew part sounds like "shev." And ya gotta love the fact that the first FIVE letters are consonants.

How weirdly cool is that?...

"Oestreich," which is Austrian for "large flightless bird that lays huge eggs and occasionally buries its head in the sand," is NOT pronounced "Owe-strick" or "Oss-strick."

It is pronounced "Ace-Strike." Cool, huh. You'll need to know this because you definitely want to party with this guy, if you haven't done so already.

Why?

Cuz we've have met few people who have more going on than Mr. Ace-strike.

What's he got goin' on?

He's a smart and handsome man who has many, many hobbies, most of them extremely costly, he has several suits, wears designer glasses, plays at least four musical instruments, hates people who slurp, is insanely in love with his hot and flamboyant thespian wife, has named his legs (which are stunning!), loves hamburgers, avocados and something called "Mango Mochi Balls," is extremely civic minded and believes that cold beer and donuts should be consumed immediately after every bike ride.
