Minnesota Multisport Awards - The official nominees for 2010 Minnesota Duathlete of the Year are:

Oakdale Du's course record-setter Brooks Grossinger (33, Mayer) and three-time DOY winner Marlo McGaver (39, Duluth) also received serious consideration.

Here are the competitive highlights of the nominees:

* Julie Hull - 1st @ Falls Duathlon (Course Record); 2nd @ Apple; 2nd @ Mosquito Man; 2nd @ Minneapolis Duathlon; 4th @ Gear West.

* Chad Milllner - 1st @ Falls Duathlon (Course Record); 2nd @ Oakdale Duathlon; 2nd @ Minneapolis Duathlon; 5th @ Gear West; 5th amateur / 7th overall @ Apple.

* Kevin O'Connor - 1st @ Treadman Duathlon (Course Record); 3rd @ Oakdale Duathlon; 3rd amateur / 5th overall @ Apple; 6th overall / 2nd 35-39 @ USAT Duathlon Nationals.

* Jenny Wilcox (photo L) - 1st @ Oakdale Duathlon (Course Record); 1st @ Cinco Du Mayo Long Course (Course Record); 1st @ Minneapolis Duathlon; 1st @ Mosquito Man; 1st @ Fall Classic Duathlon (Course Record); 1st @ Iron Girl-Bloomington; 2nd @ Gear West.
