GOING OFF-COURSE!  - The 15th edition of the popular LAKE MINNETONKA TRIATHLON is coming up, so we thought it would be cool to go off-course with the LMT's awesome race director ROSS ROGNEY. Here's a bunch of fun stuff you may not have known about him: 

- Name: ROSS ROGNEY

- Age 54

- Hometown -  Excelsior (I live in the home I was born in).

- Education - doctorate in chiropractic 

- Occupation - I have a chiropractic clinic in Excelsior.

- Dream Job - I'm doing it,  or a fishing guild - Bush pilot .

- Former Jobs - I have done a lot of bad jobs Bouncer, tarred roads, roofer, promoter.

- Family - Wife Tina, daughter Sophia, son Noah.

- Pets - I have the best dog in the world. Rosy, a white Shnoodle, and a gold fish (that won't die) Steve-o

- Tattoos? Decorative Mutilations? - Just scars my right leg is a mess....

- Best Features - Thighs or pecs I will let you decide (top photo).

- Anything you wish you could change about yourself? - The list is too long.

- Pet Peeves -  I hate people on smart phones not giving a shit about anyone else.

- Bad Habits - Salty foods, day dreaming. I use to think the song (Return to Sender) by Elvis was return Jusenda

- Books? - I don't have a lot of time to read books.

- Restaurants? - I love to cook so I don't go out much.

- Meals?  - Pasta Kristina, It has fourteen fresh herbs and spices over fettuccini. I named it after my wife.

- Junk Food? - Nuts and potato chips with a side of beer.

- Crunchy Snacks? - Popcorn

- Pizza? - Joey Nova's cheese. The best. 2nd is me trying to make it on a open fire.

- Ice Cream? - No like.

- Burger? - I make a Greek turkey burger to die for.

- Alcoholic Beverages? - This list is too long. I was a home brewer for 20 years.

- Non-Tri Hobbies? - Cooking ,fishing, lifting weights . I was Mr. Minnesota way back in 1985.

- Unique Abilities - None

- Dream Vacation Destination? - Puerto Morelos, Mexico 

- Dream Car? - 1972 Impala wagon. I had one, what fun. 

- Anything to add about yourself? I have been the race director for the Lake Minnetonka Triathlon for 15 years and love all the great people a have got to meet over the years.
