2017 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT AWARDS - Voting for TRIATHLETES CHOICE RACE OF THE YEAR has concluded. The finalists were determined by "Percent of Participation" results. For instance, if a race with 500 race day entrants, including each relay member, receives 50 votes, then that event was supported by 10% of its entrants. A race with 1500 entrants would need to receive at least 151 votes (10.1%) in order beat the smaller race, etc.

APPLE DUATHLON

HOPKINS ROYAL TRIATHLON (2015 Winner)

LAKE MINNETONKA TRIATHLON (2009 Winner)

TIMBERMAN TRIATHLON (2000 & 2001 Winner)

YWCA WOMEN'S TRIATHLON (2012 Winner)

 

 

Three races narrowly missed making the final list. They are three-time Race of the Year winner SUPERIOR MAN, two-time winner TRINONA, and BREWHOUSE. The winner will be announced at the MMA Party at Gear West Bike & Triathlon on November 4, and will receive a custom Race of the Year  banner.
