Restauranteur, entrepeneur, educator, author, lecturer, endurance athlete extraordinaire. We're describing Minnesota multisport pioneer ROD RAYMOND. He looks like he's one of the Hemsworth Brothers, but he's not. What he is, though, is a HOOT!
Rod's nickname is "Rocket", or "El Rocketo" as his hispanic friends call him.
"Rocket" a hockey nickname because he was a high school and college star in that sport, but it could also apply to his triathlon (and nordic ski and inline and road and mountain biking) prowess....
Since this is a triathlon website, here is a listing of some of El Rocketo's tri accomplishments since the millennial turn. (FYI, his Ironman PR is 8:59.)
