MINNESOTA MULTISPORT AWARDS - Here, in alpha order, are the five finalists for "Triathletes Choice Race of the Year:"

The Race of the Year winner will receive a large custom banner that can be displayed at future editions of their event.

 DANI VSETECKA - In nine career multisport starts Rochester's Vsetecka has never finished any lower than 2nd, which was where she placed yesterday at Miami 70.3. Swim times were several minutes slow across the board, suggesting a long course and/or rough conditions. Still, Dani posted a 4:43:35, demonstrating once again that she is one of America's premier amateur 70.3ers. RESULTS

 

 

UPDATE: We asked Dani about the swim times. She had this to say on Facebook: Non-wetsuit legal, stronger than usual currant, and some chop. Got way out-biked by an ex-pro cyclist (and super nice girl) and wished I put together a better run, but overall I'm happy with a finish.
