2016 Master of the Year: The Men...

2016 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT AWARDS - Yesterday we announced the nominees for Female Master of the Year. Today, we reveal the male MOY nominees.
After a lot of heated argument, the Committe was able to whittle the women's MOY list to four names. For the men, however, a similar compromise was not achieved, thus there will be FIVE official MOY nominees.
In alpha order, they are:
- BRIAN BICH, 50, Duluth (4-time Minnesota Master of the Year)

- JAMES HANNON, 57, Rochester (2nd MOY Nomination)
2016 Highlights:
- 1st AG @ USAT Duathlon Nationals (Bend, OR) (Margin of victory: 2:18)
- 2nd AG / 1st US @ Aviles Duathlon Worlds (Spain)
- 4th overall / 1st 50+ @ Gear West Duathlon
- DAVID HOLDEN, 47, North Hudson, WI (3rd MOY Nomination)

- 1st overall / CR @ Graniteman Big Lake Olympic
- 1st overall @ St. Paul Triathlon
- 4th overall / 2nd AG @ Life Tme Tri - Minneapolis

- 8th overall / 1st 50+ @ Lake Minnetonka
- 11th overall / 1st AG @ Heart of the Lakes
