Minnesota Multisport Awards - In alphabetical order here are the men and women who are being considered for nominations in the GRAND MASTER OF THE YEAR category, which applies to men age-60 and above, and women age-55 and over.

NEIL KING, 64, Nevis (photo L) - A nomination would be Neil's third in this category. (2014 Highlight: Bronze medal at Worlds.)

HANK LARSEN, 73, Glencoe - Hank has been nominated twice. (2014 Highlight: Divisional Course Record at Oakdale Duathlon)

DEB ROBERTS, 61, Nisswa - (2014 Highlights: Divisional CRs at Buffalo Olympic, Liberty Olympic, Lake Minnetonka)

BILL SCHMITT, 60, Duluth - (2014 Highlights: Divisional CRs at Buzz Ryan, Brewhouse Sprint and Z-Tri.)...

PAM STEVENS, 61, Sartell - Three-time MMA winner. (2014 Highlights: Four divisional Course Records and a Bronze at Nationals.)

GREG TAYLOR, 60, Yankton, SD -Five-time MMA winner. (2014 Highlights: Gold medalist at Nationals and 70.3 Worlds.)

Others whose resumes are being discussed, include NANCY BAUER (67, Champlin), DENNY ELLINGSON (63, Courtland), MIKE FLYNN (62, Elk River), BETH HASSLER (58, Andover), LEONARD KLUN (60, Maple Plain), RHIANNON O'CONNOR (57, White Bear Lake - photo R), SHERI SCHROCK (59, Cohasset), LISA WHEELER (61, Bloomington).

Offical nominees will be posted on MTN later this month. Awards will be presented at the 16th annual MMA Presentation at Gear West Bike and Triathlon on October 25.
