A few days ago we posted a story about the musical preferences of some of our state's prominent triathetes. Today, we reveal the TV watching preferences of five triathletes from Rochester.
- BILL NEVALA - Bill's into a show called "Restaurant Impossible." We've never heard of it (we have Basic Cable), so we Googled it. Appropriately, it's on the Food Network and is hosted by a muscular guy named Robert Irvine, like the city in Orange County, California. His recipe for Pumpkin Lasagna ...
sounds awesome. We plan to make it. RECIPE
- DAWN JOHNSON - Have you met Dawn? She totally cool and we hope to do an "Off Course" feature on her this winter. We hope she consents. She loves animated stuff, thus we were not surprised that "SpongeBob Square Pants" was among her favorite televised cartoons. We're into the old pineapple dweller, too. We wonder if she also likes "Courage, the Cowardly Dog" and "Ed, Edd & Eddy." We hope so.
- SAWRA MAURER - Like many triathletes, Sawra is a "Biggest Loser" fan. Self-transformation is a cool thing.
- JENNY (MUELLER) SHUHLA - Jenny thinks "Man Vs. Wild" totally rocks. We'll take her word for it. It's a survival show on the Discovery Channel and stars a guy named Bear Grylls, which is totally his real name. He's the son of Kodiak and Kamchatka Grylls.
- DAN HARKE - Dan watches "Chopped," which like "Restaurant Impossible" is on the Food Network. We saw it recently and thought it was awesome. FYI, Dave is an aficionado of good scotch. His favorite is the unpronounceable "Laphroaig."
