MInnesota Multisport Awards - Here are the official nominees for 2013 Female Triathlete of the Year:

SUZIE FOX (30, Chaska - photo below L)

Winner of three prior MMAs (Rookie of the Year, Duathlete of the Year, Most Improved), this is Suzie's 2nd TOY nomination. Fox won four tris this season and podiumed in three others....

DIANE HANKEE (36, Lino Lakes)

This is Diane's first TOY nomination. Winner of four triathlons this season, two of which were half IMs, her divisional win at Ironman Louisville (3rd amateur - 10:21:03) is arguably the finest 140.6 performance by a Minnesota woman this year.

HEATHER LENDWAY (29, St. Paul - photo below)

This super sophomore won eight of the 10 tris she entered this year. Her 2:05:37 victory at USAT Nationals is the fastest women's time in that event's 22-year history. Additionally, her long course debut at Leadman Epic 125- Bend produced a course record.

CATHY YNDESTAD (35, Rosemont)

A four-time TOY winner, CY was the only Minnesota woman to beat Heather Lendway this season, and she did so twice. Cathy won four of the seven tris she entered in 2013, setting a stunning course record at Buffalo Olympic (2:08:24) and winning the Minneapolis Tri for an unprecedented 7th time.
