I received a phone call on Monday of last week. A hushed voice spoke through the receiver:

moment. The moment I had waited for. It had been nearly a year. Then, just like in the movies when everything suddenly goes into slow motion, and the mood swaying music starts to play, I saw him coming around the corner. First his big, fat tire and then his aluminum frame. He was red. Perfect.
