1. GREG TAYLOR, 58, Mankato - When aged-graded, none of the other guys here were able to match Greg's resume, which included a convincing AG win at 70.3 Worlds and an amazing Top 5 overall effort at Pigman Half.
2. DAVID HOLDEN, 43, North Hudson, WI - With four outright wins in seven starts, 2012 was arguably DH's best season ever.
3. KEVIN O'CONNOR, 41, Medina - Having consistently excelled against deeper fields in 2012, Kevin was perceived to have a very slight edge over Brian Bich.
4. BRIAN BICH, 46, Duluth - Though Brian won three of the four tris he entered, the fields he faced did not feature athletes who ultimately earned spots on Team MN. Bich and Kyle Serreyn tied for 11th in the Team rankings.
5. TONY SCHILLER, 54, Eden Prairie - When age-graded there isn't a more talented master in the US than Tony. AG formulas are controversial, though, and that didn't help Mr. Schiller.
