Minnesota Multisport Awards - Only four times in the first 12th years of the MMAs has the Junior of the Year category not been coed. We are, therefore, pleased to report that both a male and a female JOY will be crowned this year. The nominated girls will be revealed here on Tuesday.
Today we introduce you to the four nominated boys.

2011 Minnesota Multisport Awards - The MMA Selection Committee announces its official nominees for 2011 Duathlete of the Year. To be eligible, athletes must have turned in at least three "amateur elite" duathlon performances during the 2011 season....

2011 Minnesota Multisport Awards - This was a tough one. There were arguments aplenty. There were so goshdarned many worthy candidates for Male Master of the Year and disagreements were the rule, not the exception.
Two of the eventual nominees came from the "Usual Suspects" file. Another is an MMA winner who just turned 40 this season. And the other, and we love this, is receiving his first MMA nomination....
