2025 FEMALE TRIATHLETE OF THE YEAR - Here in alphabetical order are the three women that Clyde and I believe richly deserve to be the official 2025 TOY nominees:

CAMI ECKHOFF, 39, Detroit Lakes - Cami has demonstrated annual improvement every year since her Rookie of the Year campaign in 2021, but 2025 was truly special, wherein she collected her 9th, 10th and 11th triathlon victories. Check out her highlights: ...

- 1st @ Buffalo Sprint - 1:04:16 (MOV - 4:29! A POY-nomination-worthy effort)

- 1st @  Chisago 70.3 - 4:48:29 (Conditions were extreme. Her MOV was 15:59!)

- 1st @ Young Life Sprint / 2nd overall!

- 2nd @ Ironman 70.3 Des Moines - 4:46:03....

ELENA JASPER, 28, Deephaven - Elena has been one of our state's most consitent elite performers since she burts onto the scene in 2021. Her 2025. scorecard shows once again why she deserves a TOY nomination.

- 2nd @ Ironman 70.3 Maine - 4:41:58

- 2nd @ Timberman Olympic

- 4th @ Ironman 70.3 Des Moines - 4:47:37

PAIGE SCHULZ, 36, MInneapolis - Paige excels at long-distance, no more so than in 2025, when she established herself as one of American's premier amateur female LD triathletes. Here are her highlights:

- 1st @ Ironman 70.3 Madison - 4:34:48 - (A clear POY nomination!)

- 2nd @ Ironman 70.3 Boise - 4:35:08

- 2nd  amateur woman @ Ironman Chattanooga - 9:43:35! (Clear POY nomination!)
