MMH season is well underway. Today, we’re highlighting the 40–54-year-old women who earned Master of the Year (MOY) nominations by posting 3 or more outstanding results in 2025: ...
Tiffany Kari Cizmas, 45, Duluth:
Tiop to bottom, Tiff had a great season. She exceled at 70.3, finishing 6th amateur / 1st AG at Chattanooga and Michigan.She was 3rd overall at Timberman Olympic, and podiumed in her AG at Nationals. She won at Buzz Ryan in course record time (52:42). Finally, she placed 3rd overall at Maple Grove Olympic.
Andrea Myers, 49, Medicine Lake:
Andrea is perennially considered for, if not nominated for, Master of the Year. In 2025 she was 4th at Buffalo Sprint, 4th at Lake Rebecca, 1st at Big Lake Sprint, and 2nd at Maple Grove Sprint.
Becky Youngberg, 50, Eden Prairie:
Becky raced in-state and nearby in Iowa this year. In Iowa, she placed 14th overall in 5:08:52 at Des Moines 70.3. She took the overall win at Big Lake Olympic. And Becky ended her season with a 5th overall at Maple Grove Olympic.

The MMH Committee would also like to shout out several women who had excellent seasons, but did not meet the 3+ race requirement to earn a MOY nomination. These athletes are Heather Lendway, Diane Hankee, Bettina Keppers (all previous MOYs), as well as Kadi Steinbring (who was nominated in 2024).
