BLAINE TRIATHLON - It's hard to believe that this fine event will celebrate its sixth anniversary  this Saturday (September 9). It seems like it was introduced only yesterday.

Predictions -

- JOSH MORK and two-time champ CHRIS TATTON will, in either order, place 1-2 in the men's race. The winner will set a new Course Record. Tatton, now 40, will establish a new MR.

- The women will be led by 2016 champ MARNIE WALTH, who will become the first masters woman to break 1:20 on this fast, scenic  .3-16.75-3.5 course.

- TAYLOR LUNDQUIST, 17, will make the overall women's podium, and crush the existing Junior CR in the process.

- Race Director NATE MONAHAN (photo R with son PoPo) and his crew will, one again, put on an awesome race. As ever, he will "bring the fun," and his sister will sing the National Anthem while wearing funky glasses. She, too, is a "Fun Bringer."

We encourage everyone who is on the fence about racing this weekend, to sign up for the Blaine Triathlon. Act fast, as registration closes on Labor Day.  RACE WEBSITE
